The City of Colorado Springs Janine Taylor College Writing III November 8, 2008 Writing IIII To me, Colorado Springs is one of the most beautiful places in the United States of America. Both peaceful and exciting, this city is a great place to live. Colorado Springs, Colorado is home of the United States Army Base, Fort Carson. This is a wonderful place to live due to the beautiful scenery, diversity of people, and the many opportunities that it holds. Because this beautiful city is located in the western part of the United States and home of Fort Carson US Army Base, Colorado Springs population is made up of many different cultures. Due to the many ethnicities that live within this city, such as Hispanic, Canadian, and Korean, there may be many different languages spoken around this area. Some of these languages mainly consist of Spanish, French and Korean languages. Although there are many, different cultures that makeup the population of this city, the people are some of the most kindhearted people in the world. The people that live here are very eager to help others in any way they can. For these reasons, the city of Colorado Springs is a microcosm of the nation and the world. The different languages hea_r_d and the diversity of people makes this place a world inside of a city. Breathe taking sights, diversity among cultures, and great career opportunities are some of the many reasons this is a must have residential destination. If one enjoys a peaceful, yet exciting environment, then this is the city for you. Being that this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, Colorado Springs is a refreshing city to reside. I recommend that everyone visit this impressive city; after all seeing is believing.
