The curious incident of the dog in the night-time is a coming of age story, or a novel of formation or rite of passage or it is also known as Bildungsroman, this is a novel whose principal subject is the moral, psychological and intellectual development of a usually young character (in our novel, Christopher Boone). It’s about passing from innocence to experience. We become disillusioned about the word around us. It is not rosy hue we thought it was. Mark Haddon is the author and illustrator of this novel. It’s about an Asperger Syndrome boy of 15 years old. Which trying to resolve a murder mystery of a dog, Wellington, he discovers that his mother, who he tough was dead, it’s alive, and that his father had killed Wellington. We can follow Christopher along all this new adventures and see how he changes, he matures, he becomes more socially aware and he discovers himself.

Christopher has an Asperser syndrome type of life. To begin with Christopher lives with his father in a house in Sweden. He has a very organized way of living, that’s why; he has a time table for each day .He love doing Math’s, and he is really got at them. He doesn’t like people to touch him including his dad, that traditionally and characteristic from an Asperger syndrome. He doesn’t like new places or big crowd that it’s why he never goes out of the bloc of his house on his one. Christopher doesn’t like to talk to anyone he doesn’t know because he thinks is dangerous. As regard all this specials characteristics’ of Christopher, you can realize that he takes a regular life with all in his indicated time. As regards Christopher and his friends, he has no friends.
