This research paper is to tell people about the death of Michael Jackson and events that followed his death. On June 25, 2009, Michael Jackson suffered cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home. He was rushed to the hospital after his heart stopped and CPR attempts failed, and he died later that morning, he was 50 years old at the time of his death. On July 12, 2009, a televised memorial was held for fans of the King of Pop at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, 17,500 free tickets were issued to fans via lottery. On September 3, 2009, The Jackson Family held a private funeral for the immediate family and 200 guests at Forest Lawn Memorial park in Los Angeles. A film documenting Jackson's preparations for his final performance entitled This Is It, hit theaters on October of 2009. On February 2010, the coroner released an official report detailing the cause of Jackson's death. The results revealed that the singer died from "acute propofol intoxication." A police investigation revealed that Murray was not licensed to prescribe most controlled drugs in the state of California. Jackson's death was ruled a homicide, and Murray found himself at the center of an involuntary manslaughter investigation, and he was later found guilty on November 7, 2011.

On June 25, 2009 I started my day flying around the Los Angeles home of Michael Jackson. I love my life as a lady bug living here in the home with Michael, it has been such a joy. I love his work and am a big fan of his music and dance styles. But this day was soon to be the worst day of my life because Michael Jackson suffered cardiac arrest.
