The Difference Betwenn Eastern Philosophy and Other Philosophies

Enrolling back in school I have learned a lot about myself. The first thing that I learned was the difference between Eastern philosophy. The second thing I learned was that trust is something that is earned but yet we still give it out to others. The third thing I learned was that I need to know more about economics, finance, and business. Now after taking the Williams Institute Ethics Awareness Assessment I learned more about myself. After completing the assessment my scoring reflected that my ethical perspective is based on character. Character can be defined in many ways but the character of the person defines them.

A person’s character leaves an impression when that person is gone. After reviewing the results from the assessment I agree with the results. The assessment states that I believe that ethics should focus on ways to help people achieve moral excellence and that is totally true. My parents use to tell me good things happen to good people. Little did I know they were only helping me be an ethical person. Doing the right thing only helps the person understand that a prosperous and fulfilling life comes only from making sound ethical decisions. The assessment goes on to say that I look past the actions to examine the individuals’ character. That is true also. A person’s actions are only a result of the person’s character build depending on the situation. Looking at the actions of the person and analyzing that is only scratching the surface. But looking past the actions and understand why that person acted or reacted in that manner you can start looking into that person’s character.

Kathy Kudler showed the want-to and enthusiasm for being an entrepreneur and starting her own business. Not only did she start the business she ran it and expanded it throughout the city.
