The Call Of The Wild
There are many differences in the movie than the novel but, the three most major differences were that there was a character named in the movie named Charlie. Charlie was a new character in the movie that the novel didn’t have. Charlie helped John Thorton travel to find gold. Another major difference was in the novel there where two fights between Buck and Spitz and in the movie there was only one fight. In the novel the fist fight was about their sleeping hole and the second one was about food. In the movie the fight was about Spitz steeling Bucks food. The third major difference was that John Thorton says goodbye to Buck before he lets him go to the wild. In the novel John didn’t say goodbye to Buck and Buck just herdals to the wilderness. The theme is that to bring Buck to the where he belongs. The theme for the novel was that John Thorton took Buck to the wilderness because that was Bucks home.

To begin with, my perspective about the movie and the novel is that they are very different. But the novel and the movie have the same theme. The only thing I didn’t like about the novel was that they didn’t have the character Charlie like how the movie had. But the thing I liked about the novel was that Buck at the end of the novel responded to the Call Of The Wild. The thing I liked about the movie was that John Thorton said goodbye to Buck before he left to the wilderness. The thing I didn’t like about the movie was that Charlie just left John Thorton in the river when he was dead. I think I would recommend the movie because I think it was better than the novel.
