The Effects of Legalizing Homosexual Marriage.
Regardless of the impression set by the mass media, the concrete figure of homosexuals is quite small. In actual fact all analyses indicate the number of homosexuals to be only 1/3% of the population in the world. However, the number of 1/3% may be a small percentage compare to the 2/3% of the population but the legalization of homosexual marriage may bring consequence.
The first problem that it faces is the health problems that will be faced by the homosexuals’ lifestyle. The mass media interprets the homosexual lifestyle and affairs as joyful, vigorous, and unchanging. Yet, the homosexual way of life is related to a huge number of very serious bodily and emotional healths. To which diseases such as HIV, Herpes simplex virus, anal cancer, Chlamydia trachomatis, Hepatitis B and C, Human papilloma virus, Microsporidia, and so on, which victims are majority homosexual men that involve with anal intercourse. The diseases mention, which many of them are uncommon or even unfamiliar with in the heterosexual population. The causes of these illnesses are because of the frequent of having anal intercourse without protection of condom or even if they are acknowledge to one self-being that they are HIV positive.
Furthermore, the health effect that is brought by the cause of legalizing same-sex marriages is not the only problem. It is acknowledge that it brings the adverse effects of family breakdowns. There is a wealth of proof connecting household interruption with many adversative health conclusions for the offspring and the public as a whole. Government policy as a result should reinforce the marriage-based household of spouse and companion. ‘same-sex marriages’, with their characteristic uncertainty, will underwrite too many opposing effects that contributes to family breakdown on offspring and to the public as a whole.
