The environmental issue could be looked at as a worldwide crisis, and it could be as small as the situation people may face every day. It is really a complex topic with many factors and one of the important environment issues is global warming. Although the environmental problems may seem too severe to control by every single person, people can still chose to do their best to handle what surrounds them.
People can get involved in protecting environment by avoiding to waste energy as possible as they can. And saving energy benefits the environment because it can reduce global warming effects. For example, in my school, we are asked to turn off the electric power when leaving the classroom. When in summer, we keep moderate temperatures of air conditioning. And all the students and faculties are encouraged to walk or bike to school.
Meanwhile, people can adopt positive ways to improve environment. Just taking my hometown for instance, we plant new trees in our community every year. Every single tree absorbs carbon dioxide and gives off oxygen. They are an integral part of the natural atmosphere exchange cycle on earth. So every time we plant a tree is an act to fight for global warming.
I believe that it is feasible for everyone to follow some steps in his daily life and take helpful actions for environment. So do they could share information of conservation to their family, neighbors, friends and co-workers. People still can do a lot of things. Actually, as what I’ve mentioned above, every individual has the ability to change and handle.
