Globalization became as an impact to many in the mid-19th century and accelerated in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Hence, effects of globalization is necessary, to enable organizations to maintain a competitive edge. It creates a more stable world and better lives for the people. According to the article, “It is an era of global media marketing and global audiences, planet-enveloping telecommunication networks, transnational virtual communities, worldwide 24-hour financial flows, and multinational networked organizations.” (social.chass.ncsu.edu/~wiley/Courses/598description.html) Organizations focus on globalization in its economic, political, and technological forces for the challenges and opportunities that it creates for human community and the organization. It provides the organization with multiple ways in which human activity becomes socially organized and purposeful.
