The Four Seasons VS The MGM Grand:
Which Hotel is Right for You?
Since moving away from Las Vegas two years ago, I have been back twice to visit friends, and just to hang out. The first time that I went back, I stayed at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, and the second time I visited, I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort. The experience I had from each were so different, I thought I would share them you to better educate yourself when choosing a hotel to stay at in Las Vegas.
The first thing that I would like to discuss is the number of rooms that each have. The MGM Grand is very overwhelming; with over 5000, rooms that you can chose to stay in, making it the largest hotel in Las Vegas. As opposed to the Four Seasons, have only 424 rooms that you can choose to stay in. Since the MGM Grand is, so large it took over two hours to be checked into my room because of the long check in lines, walking to the elevator, felt like a mile walk, and then another mile just to get to the room. The Four Seasons on the other hand, had no long check in lines; it only took about ten minutes to check into the room, two minutes to walk to the elevator, and no mile walk to reach the room. I had my car from valet in less than five minutes, and when ordering room service, it took no longer than twenty-five for my food to arrive. There were no hassles.

Another experience trait was the service. The MGM Grand was so big, that it lacked service. It lacked the personal touches. I felt like a number rather than a person, I did not feel that MGM appreciated my business and me. I am big on personal touches, the little things, and I like to feel important. For example, at the MGM, I was always called sir throughout my stay, at the Four Seasons, they made it a point to know my name, and during the whole stay, I...
