The History Of Robotics

The history of robots has its own beginning in the early world. The recent idea began to be developed with the arrival of the Industrial Revolution which allowed for the use of better and up-to-date mechanics
The first uses of modern robots were in factories, as industrial robots. Industrial robots were invented during the time of the Industrial Revolution. Simple machines capable of succeeding the tasks which had been set, allowed production without the need for human assistance. The earliest known industrial robot, invented by Bill Griffith Taylor in 1937 and published in a magazine called “Meccano Magazine” in March 1938.The machine by a single electric motor. The first electronic robots were built by William Grey Walter in England in 1948. American George Devol, Jr. invented the first digital and programmable robot a few years later in 1954.
One of the robots that we use in our daily life is the car washing machine. Through the 1960’s, car washing systems were being installed across America : with car wash equipment advancing, the 60’s saw inventions such as improving the water systems, soft cloth friction washing, and wraparound brush. By the late 60’s car washes were becoming a promising industry worldwide with car washes being installed in many countries, including Japan.
One of the robots that help us in our daily lives is the “Robotic Arm”. They are designed for heavy, repetitive manufacturing work. They handle tasks that are difficult, dangerous or boring to human beings. A typical robotic arm is made up of seven metal segments, joined by six joints. The computer controls the robot by rotating individual step motors connected to each joint. Unlike ordinary motors, step motors move in exact. This allows the computer to move the arm very precisely, repeating exactly the same movement over and over again. The robot uses motion sensors to make sure it moves just the right amount.
