CHAPTER ONE: INTRODUCTION
In 1989 Michael J. Fox amazed many movie goers, especially those who enjoyed skateboard riding, with the possible invention of an anti-gravity board that could allow a person to travel from one place to another without touching the ground. This fantasy product idea spread like wild fire as it traveled from movie theaters around the world. What was this magical thing that made inventors since then attempt the creation of it? It was a hoverboard.
Since then many have tried to recreate the product that would allow a person to move from point A to point B without touching the ground. Fast forward to 2015, and this amazing product was not only invented, by is now in productions for consumers to purchase and enjoy as in the movie in 1989. Like many new products the hoverboard has come with its own list of problems.
Problem Background
As with many new products that have a technology-based platform, problems and/or glitches with the programing will occur. The hoverboard is no exception. The hoverboard was designed for the average skateboarder in mind, including preteens to early 20-year-old age group. However, The Hoverboard Company did not consider the daily commuters that use the hoverboard to go from point A to B as a means of transportation within large cities such as New York, and large college campuses. As such, the hoverboard has become a less expensive means of transportation for the mid 20-year-old age group.
