It is known US is a country that mixed with many nationalities from all over the world. Since Columbus found this wonder land centuries ago, a period of immigrants began. At the beginning, most of them were European who lived in the lower level in their hometown. They came to this new place for freedom, respect, human right, a totally new life. After hundred years, lots of people from Asia and Europe such as Chinese and Irish were here for money, and the African were forced to move here to be slaves. In addition, there were also many Native American live in this land. All these people formed the society we live in now.
As US is the most developed country in the world. Many people are trying to move in US especially those live in the developed counties. As the population of immigrants goes high, it has become a serious problem to the residents and government.
Many American think that the immigrants are not a big deal for their living since it is good to contact some people from different culture. The best reason is they can try different food from all over the world, for example Mexican and Italian food is very popular in US. Besides, many factory owners would like to hire an illegal immigrant instead of a resident .First, the owner have to pay a lot of money for the legal employer such like insurance and social security. Second, the owner can make immigrants work more than 8 hours per day since they will not complain to the government as they are illegal. So the factory owners will never protest the immigrants. Moreover, the immigrants who with the advanced technique and skill will make the society move the forward. It is definitely a good phenomenon.
