I am about to write this essay about the merger between InterClean, Inc. and Enviro Tech, Inc. For this reason I am writing a memo showing the importance of the behavior of the manager. I will also talk about three key components that manager should understand the importance their behavior have on employees productivities, to also know how important it is to and not to break the rules and be fair when dealing with fair employment law and how to deal with diversity in a workplace.
Managers need to communicate effectively to employees in the companies and let them know what the goal of the company is ahead of time. Managers should be fair to all employees, not just the one that he or she likes, and learn how to let them know when they do a good job also. At InterClean managers do let their employees know the goal of their company and they also reward their employees. By acting like that it help productivitie to go up, and the employees feel better. I do believe that any companies should think about that, because when you make the employees feel good it always help productivities as well, but this start with the supervisors or the managers that is in charge.
According to this article was written for the 8th Anniversary issue of The Data Administration Newsletter, the question to the "what does it take to make data management work?" But the panelists went on to agree that the key to winning such support is genuine empathy with business managers, and that achieving such empathy is a seriously difficult challenge. (Grame,2005).
