The Importance of Video Games

In today's society, there is constant need to be able to keep up with the ever changing, "mile-a-minute"
leaps in technology. Some people try to get a late start by taking classes or by buying "idiot's guide"
which more often than not only end up making you feel like the book truly was written for you, an idiot.
Personally, i feel that the only reason i am fortunate enough to be as comfortable and knowledgable with
all the gadgets and "sci-fi" toys on the market today is not even due to fortune. It is due to the fact
that in 1988 my grandmother was at a garage sale and found a Nintendo Entertainment System that she decided
to give to me as a christmas gift. Little did she or i know then how Double Dragon or Tetris would better
prepare me for the future that is our present now. The future that isnt that far off from the old '50s
movies view of the 21st century, minus the flying cars.
