The Interesting Fishing Experience
Everyone absolutely has a special birthday, so do I. My twelfth birthday is one of those which are worthy of remembering.
On twelfth birthday, my father did not give me any presents at first; instead, he took me to his friend’s fishing pond to celebrate my birthday. It was a fine day. When we got to the destination, my sister and I were surprised to see the beautiful scenery around the pond. My father called us to take the fishing tackle out of the car. My sister and I took those tolls to bank. My father pulled a boat and put it into the water. Then we began.
We boarded the boat and paddled it to the middle of the pond. Both my sister and I had not had a fishing experience before, so we had to watch how my father fishing and waiting for him to teach us.
First, my father took out a shrimp, put in on the hook, pulled the line out, and then threw the hook into the water. My father asked us to keep quiet. He told us that the fish would be scared away by any sound. Therefore, we started to wait for a slight movement silently. Suddenly, we saw the line moved, and then my father raised the rod. He caught the fish. My sister and I were so excited and wanted to fish.
Then, we did as my father had done. We threw the hook, sat down, and began to wait. However, half an hour had passed; we did not catch any fish. I became impatient. Seeing this, my father said to me. “Fishing needs a lot of efforts, be patient with it”. Then I modified my mood and waited again. About another half an hour later, the line moved. I was so surprised and dragged it up as soon as possible. As expected, it was the fish. My sister and I jumped up and down excitedly. We had no words to say, but just smiled and jumped. After putting the fish into a box filled with ice cubes, we continued to fish. Finally, we got five fish and we were satisfied with the result. At the end of the fishing, we went home with those we got happily.
