In my expository essay I am going to talk about why I think the justice system has lost their way. I am going to give examples of personal experiences and close friends experiences. I am going to give examples of cases on the internet where innocents were convicted then proven innocent after spending time in jail or who lost their life before they were proven innocent. The justice system has many flaws now a days and I feel it is important to address these flaws and take a closer look at how our American citizens are being treated. They are guilty until, proven innocent. It is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty like it used to be. My essay will explain all these things.
I know people who have been treated unfairly by the justice system because they no longer believe in innocent till proven guilty, now it’s guilty until proven innocent.
The justice system no longer cares that innocents are convicted and put to death they only care about their next pay day.
A close friend is facing trumped charges and accusations they had nothing to do with.
I have a friend who has had the better part of a year ruined because they cannot get a job due to charges he is facing. The accuser is a messed up person who use to be one of my closest friends. They have had a lot of pain and suffering due to this and they have been fearing for their life. This whole situation was never properly investigated and should never have been brought into court because it is a joke.
The case I am referring to dealt with my husband and he won. Not because of anything we did, but because the prosecution moved for dismissal on the charges.
