Goal
Provide Kudler Fine Foods with a purchase tracking system that will support a new Frequent Shopper program.
Project Scope
• Create and maintain a purchasing database in order to capture individual customer’s purchase behavior.
• Capture and store basic customer contact information.
• Populate and store customers’ purchase information. This will be developed after implementation of the purchasing database.
• Establish connectivity between Kudler Fine Food’s purchasing database and the Loyalty Points Program.
• Cleanse and transmit daily customer purchase activity and contact information to the Loyalty Points Program. This will be developed after the implementation of the purchasing database.
• Provide basic Management Information System (MIS) report capability.
• Establish procedures and training for the Kudler Fine Foods marketing, sales, and service associates.
Supporting Measures for Success
In order to determine the relative degree of success of the completed project a testing team will be established. The testing team will complete the following:
• Verify all fields are available in the purchasing database.
• Verify customer contact information is captured and store accurately.
• Verify customers’ purchase information is populated and stored in the purchase database by making mock purchases.
• Confirm the customer purchase activity and contact information that was transmitted to the Loyalty Points Program was received successfully. The transmitted data will be reviewed for accuracy by the Loyalty Points Program and a testing team associate
