The Meaning of Life

I believe everyone has a different perspective on the meaning of life. For example, some say "Live your life to the fullest." or, "Take one day at a time." I would have to say my perspective on life would have to be both.
I would like to say I have lived life to the fullest, thus far. I have always been the type of person who always worries about what other's think. I am unsure of why I seem to let others' opinions bother me, but I do, not so much now, as before. I have always been seen as "The shy girl" all throughout school, and have tried to be the type of person everyone wanted me to be. . I have the best parents any person would be lucky to have. I have one younger sister, who was by far more popular than I was, and I guess you could say I wanted her popularity. In the end, I have learned that I do not need to worry about what others may think, or how they think I should or should not be. I am me- April Puckett, a twenty-four year old woman from a small town in West Virginia.
When I reflect on the decisions I have made, I realize not all of them were the best. But, you learn and grow from the mistakes made. You begin to think ahead before making the "Final decision".
I do not take my life for granted. I take time everyday to thank God to be alive, and to be able to be surrounded by family and friends. These days, people of all ages are taking advantage of their own lives. People are letting drugs, and/or alcohol addiction over-rule their minds. Before you know it, it may be too late to change your way in life.
