“2012” has become the new buzzword among everyone I know, these days. I wonder where I heard this first, And how I quell my curiosity about this new buzzword? Do I believe in it? What is this all about?
“Sweetheart, get up! Come here and see what’s playing on TV”, my wife was calling out to me, excitedly.
Needless to say, I had to get up to see what was playing. I sat on my couch, sipping on a hot cup of tea, anxiously waiting to see what’s playing.
For the next half hour I did not budge from my couch, watching what was playing on TV. It was all about the year 2012, the prophecies about this year and how the world is going to end in 2012. “This is all Nonsense! Just like how they predicted that world would end in the year 2000”
How could I just walk away saying that it’s all Nonsense? I kept thinking to myself. My curiosity got the better of me. I started perusing the nearest library for some books and articles that would give me more information about the year 2012. We are in an era of information, where there is a wealth of information available everywhere. So I did not restrict myself to just the library. I started searching the Internet also.
I was drowned in the amount of knowledge I gathered. There were numerous books, articles, documentaries and a lot of information on the internet. Some of the current day mystics like Osho, well known psychics like Sylvia Browne, the HOLY BIBLE, JEWS’ TORAH, HOLY QURAN, the Hindu Vedas and philosophers have all written about the year 2012. In fact there’s been so much of speculation about this year 2012.
