The mother comes home with her arm in a cast due to a broken wrist and cuts and bruises all over her face and it’s swollen. The daughter has many talks with her mother through the years begging her not to stay with these guys anymore because she didn’t need or deserved that kind of treatment. The first guy she finally leaves after a few years but stays with the second guy until her last day. After 16 years of abuse with the second guy the mother couldn’t take it anymore and winds up committing suicide. Her response to her daughter’s pleas for leaving the men would always be the same, saying she didn’t want to leave them because she loves them. No woman deserves or needs to be in that kind of relationship especially if she has children. years of alcohol abuse cannot be reversed.
