The Seeds That Grew is about a woman who was a lesbian but through Christ was delivered from that way of life. It seems to me that her homosexuality was secondary to the real issue in her life. Although she was brought up in the church she had never given herself to Jesus and asked Him to be her savior. Without Jesus leading the way it is easy for the enemy to lead one astray. Until you are filled with the Holy Spirit it is hard to know that what you are doing is wrong in the eyes of the Lord. While her sin was great, it could still be forgiven in the eyes of the Lord.
The sin of Homosexuality is a detestable sin in the eyes of the Lord. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination (LEV. 20:13). The more you read of the Bible and study it you learn how God feels about being gay. But, like in the article with Jesus you can overcome anything the enemy throws at you. She began to read study the Bible and God moved on her heart that the way she was living was wrong. It doesn’t matter how I or anyone else feel about homosexuality it only matters how God feels. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come (1 COR. 4:5).
When she decided to give herself to the Lord and be born again through the blood of Christ it was the most important day of her life. Not only was she delivered but she gained the knowledge that she was now one of God’s children through Jesus Christ. It is a hard thing to do what you know you must even when it is against what you think you should. She gave up everyone and everything she knew. It must have been scary but, it is not easy to walk in the path of the righteous, if it were everyone would do it. Her story is like the story of a lot of Christians, all of us have our own weaknesses and we all fall short of glory. The only way to salvation is through Christ.
