Change
Just when you become adjusted to your surroundings, something changes. Existing since the beginning of time, human beings have been adopting change into their lives. Change by definition is to cause something to be different or give something a completely different appearance. Change can be good or bad. This depends on your personal point of view on the subject being addressed to change. But why must change happen and should anything be done to stop change?
Change is never easy but it is usually useful. Change is one factor that the entire world has to face every day in some way. It is needed to keep society current. Technology is one of the things that is constantly changing around us. Take a look at calculators. Twenty years ago, calculators were expensive and half the size of a notebook. Now, you can get a multi-function calculator at the dollar store. So, in this case technology worked to our advantage to make the product readily available as well as affordable and portable.
Change is caused by many stimuli, whether it is a self change, or caused by a different factor. The process of change can be difficult or it can take many directions. Just imagine being a slave in America before the Civil War or being a female before women had the right to vote; change had to happen in order for abolition and suffrage to happen. Also, depending on the situation, the degree of difficulty of change varies.
Change is worthwhile to an extent. Although most change works out in the end due to adaptation to the new environment, sometimes change does not totally work out in the end. If change was not present, then we would be a boring human society all with the same values and beliefs, without individuality.
