People use the word Shit to express him or herself in a lot ways that have total different meanings. Let me start with giving you the definition of the word shit from the Encarta dictionary. Which is shit is a highly offensive term for human or animal defecating. As I grew up shit was consider to be of the foul language. I was not to use the word shit. Instead, I was to use the word crap and or poop. Here are a couple of examples that define the word shit by the dictionary. I am taking a shit. On the other hand, the dog took a shit on the neighbor’s lawn.
The word shit can be used in many offensive ways, for example, I am going to beat or kick the shit out of you. Which is referring to he or she is going to be reflecting damage to him or her. The next one that comes to my mind is you are a piece of shit. This is referring to he or she thinks you are nothing. Someone may state to someone else she or he looks like shit. This one is referring to he or she does not look well. Due to he or she is sick or just did not take the time to groom him or herself. Next, quit talking shit which shit refers to someone is speaking bad words about someone or something. Alternatively, one might state, “fuck that shit!” referring they do not like what has just happen or what someone might have said to them.” what the shit is that?” meaning they do not do know what they are looking at or what someone just did. On the other hand, do I really have to eat that shit? Do I really have to do this shit? Referring to he or she do not like what there is to eat or do what they are doing. “You are shit faced.” Referring to him or her was intoxicated. “Where is the shit?” In this case, they are referring to drugs. Using the word shit in these, ways can be very offense to people and the word shit could considered as using the word shit in a foul way.
