My cousin was only sixteen years of age when she had her first baby; a remarkably young age, but more and more common these days having kids. She was still in high school and all of her plans changed drastically after her baby was born. She said that she had never regretted her baby arrival but it was extremely difficult for her to see her friends continuing their journey after high school to college, and she had to put her education on hold so because of this I would argue that women shouldn’t have babies at a young age. They should wait and save money, have a higher education and learn more parental skill before having babies.
To begin with, I would say that having babies is an awesome thing to do but having them at a young age is not the right choice to make because taking care of a baby is very much expensive, so one should wait and save money before having a baby. For instance, my cousin is into a great financial depression because providing all of her baby needs alone is not easy. She is now eighteen and still in high school. She is doing a part time job and her baby’s daddy is no longer in their lives. She have to pay for babysitting, buy diapers, food, clothes, medications and other needs all by herself with the little she made from her part time job. Her parents also vow not to help her out because they are very much disappointed in her. All of these problems are stressing her out so she is poorly performing in school.
Another reason that I argue that young girls shouldn’t have baby at a young age is because one need higher education to enable them to be well represented in the society. Education is one of the best gift that anyone can ever give them self. If these young girls are not well educated and they have these kids, definitely these kids will follow their parent’s footstep and they would become bad influence on the society.
