Hollywood was a great contribution to World War II. There was many movie studios that went into this Hollywood contribution such as Warner Brothers, MGM, Columbia, Paramount. These studios would make movies telling the people about the war and what is happening over seas during the war. Warner Brother would make cartoons such as bug’s bunny which would intrepid the war. They would also have movies such as Three Faces West , Patrol Hall, Rebecca, Blood and Sand. Hollywood was one of the main streams of information to the people so they would know what would be happening in the war. They would send out propaganda so that the American people would read. The Hollywood industry would shot threw the roof during the war special after the pearl Harbor attacks.
Bob Hope or as his first name Leslie Townes Hope born in Eltham, London , England. He is the fifth of 7 boys . His parents are William Henry Hope and Welsh Hope that was a light opera singer. In his early carrier he would do interpretations of Charlie Chaplin and he would also box for a brief while. Bob hope would contribute a lot to the war. His first performers was for the USO show on May 6, 1941 in March Field, California. He would go on and perform threw World War II entertaining the troops. Bob Hope is one of the greatest entertainers of the centaury till this day.
Tyrone Powers was born on May 5, 1914 he was born in Cincinnati , Ohio. Only son of Tyrone Powers Sr. and Helena Emma. In his earlier carrier he would join his father in the movie industry that was in the 1930’s. In the 1940 his carrier took a great turn when he got a part in the movie The Mark of Zorro. Tyrone’s carrier was interrupted in 1942 when he when out to training in the Marine Core . But later he would get called back from war because he would participate in the movie Crash Drive. It was a patriot American war movie. This movie was used as like it was a Marine recruiting video for the young men that wanted to join....
