B.S. DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP MAJOR
2009-2010 Admission Information: The Entrepreneurship major is a limited access program. To be admitted to the Entrepreneurship major, you must complete a separate application. The Entrepreneurship major is a three-year program with major area courses starting in your sophomore year. You must apply to be an Entrepreneurship major your freshman year in March. Enrollment is limited to 40 students per year. Admission criteria include academic achievement, evidence of prior entrepreneurial activity, and a compelling essay describing why you want to be an entrepreneur. To continue in the Entrepreneurship major, you must satisfy the admission requirements for the limited access programs in business by the end of your sophomore year. Lower-level Prerequisites for Entrepreneurship Majors: Students must earn a “C-“ or better in each course. All of these courses, except ACG 2071, must be completed prior to admission to the Entrepreneurship major.
