Today, I will present a topic about health which is mainly about ‘Vitamin C the benefits in skin and immune system’. The main reason for me to pick this topic is to make all of you including me to realize the importance of vitamin C in our life and to give you some facts that related to vitamin C.
Firstly, vitamin C is one of the nutrients that make our body healthy. This nutrient is readily available in fruits and vegetables. Lots of people nowadays don’t realize that vitamin C can do more than its function to heal wounds and reduce the ageing process. Despite that vitamin C has been used productively to produce cosmetics products that able to reduce ageing process, it also has been proved by some universities that it can reduce the risk of all cancers. Imagine that my friends how important the vitamin C is. But, nowadays many people don’t realize this problem even though the lack of vitamin C in their body can cause serious problems such as asthma and even worse, diabetes.
For your information, smoking habits also cause the lack of vitamin C in our body. Surprisingly, not only the active smokers but the passive smokers nowadays especially children also suffer the same fate. How pity is that to see our future leaders are exposed to this problem. So, why don’t all of you think of this situation for a while and imagine what will happen in the future if this problem is getting worse? No wonder the polluted environment that happens nowadays is making the situation getting worse.
Finally, we should take serious action in getting our enough vitamins and other minerals to make sure our body are protected by viruses that can cause diseases. To doing so, we must ensure that we take our recommended daily servings frequently which including fruits and vegetables. And last but not least, prevent activities that can bring harm to your body such as smoking to ensure healthy and fresh body.
