Volleyball can be an easy sport if you know how to play. First of all you should know how serve, set, bump, and hit. You also should know the positions. Middle, setter, outside, and middle back. As long you know these you will find volleyball rather easy. these are the tools to success in volleyball.

If you are right handed you will see you serve differently than a left handed person. If you are right handed put your hand out, make sure your palm is facing the floor. Put your left hand out, make sure your palm is facing up. Put a volleyball between your hands, toss it high up with your left. As soon as you see the ball low enough hit it as hard as you can with your right. Left handed people should do the same exepct the other way around.
The only times you really should only set is if your a setter, or you are up at the net and the only way you can get it over is if you have to set it. It does not matter if you are right handed or left handed. Pretend you are holding a volleyball with both hands and you have to drop it but keep your hands the same. Bring your hands over your head, have someone toss it, then as soon as it is in your hands really fast push up and release! If you have done this, That means you have made a good set.
When hitting a ball you are almost doing a serve, but not exactly. Start at the net, run back, when you see the ball coming run up and hit! this goes along with right or handed people or left handed people. if you are left handed go to the right side of the net, because it is easier. If you are right handed got to the left side of the net, because it is easier. hit the ball hard but not to hard, because if it goes out of bounce and nobody on the other team touched it it is their point.
