VI. RATIONALE:
The issue on the implementation of solid waste management despite the effort and intensive campaign of many concerned agencies is still a common problem in many barangays.Absence of Engineered Sanitary Landfills are one of the many reasons that causes this problem. However, research proved that sanitary landfills alone cannot solve this issue but also with the help of the residents and organizations thru proper segregation and recycling.
This organization aim to educate people on proper waste management and provide them the opportunity to generate income out of their solid waste and recyclable materials. Recyclables such as papers, empty cans and bottles are the target materials that will be bought by the organizations to be the raw materials in the production of by-products such as decors. Members of the association are trained and equipped with skills on such livelihood.
VII. OBJECTIVES:
1. Giving the members enough knowledge on proper wastes disposal and segregation .
a. Trainings
b. Helpfull activity such as clean up drive
2. Modest income for the association and for the members
3. Be a role model in the barangay where we reside.
