War and the outside view

Looking from an outside perspective warfare maybe defined as a pointless way to solve a conflict, but in reality it is one of the most paramount pieces to a stable nation. There are many people in this nation that believe war has caused too many deaths and has brought too much pain to families. War can only cause death and destruction right? How are we supposed to trust a government that solves conflicts with violence? War seems to have this never ending cycle to it, causing an uproar in society. What society seems to forget about is our military is a symbol of freedom and shows off our global power to other nations. The reason why we have so many liberties and opportunities that everyone doesn’t have is because of the soldiers that fought for them. A vast amount of inventions and ideas that we know and are accustomed to today, are because of war. Woman were hired as engineers and laborers which is something only a man would do, and new inventions were made. War has created a larger and more stable United States since our foundation, it has made a higher standard of living and economic growth, making us safer and richer.
War to put it in a very brief term is a conflict between two groups, cities, countries, etc… generally starting with a major disagreement in morale’s or believes a certain government or body of people may have. When we look at war as a society all we see is death and pain, motivation to kill other human beings with nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. People believe guns shouldn’t even exist in our country due to the astronomical number of deaths they have caused since their creation. In spite of the Second Amendment which gives citizens the right to bear arms people think that should be nullified. Having a gun gives someone power between sparing a life or ending it, and knowing you can make the choice in war makes people uneasy.
