I. Purpose:
The Information Management plan is used to show how various information systems will be implemented and improve the operations and process of Acme de Mexico.
II. Objectives:
The IMP is expected to assess the existing information systems and serve as a blueprint to implement solutions.
III. Planning Overview:
This Information Management Plan will outlines internal and external needs of Acme de Mexico. The internal needs include strategic planning, human resources and the external needs are concerned with customer and investor opportunities as well as governing requirements.
IV. Information Services Department:
ACME’s Information Services department will be held accountable for gathering and analyzing meaningful data that can be implemented in order to improve overall operations.

Security of information & inventory
Consumer & market trends
Decision support systems
Effective communication system with suppliers

VI. Storage of information:
It is essential for ACME to have records of all of their on a secure cloud network that can be accessed by employees domestically and internationally. Employees will not be able to access ACME’s network from personal devices to ensure security. Although technology is advancing daily, having physical records of data is pertinent in the case of system failure.
VII. Information Security:
Acme should have their information on a private secure network in order to keep all customer, supplier and confidential accessible to specific users.
Managerial Challenge
Problem: An important managerial challenge for my department is resistance to change
