A. On January 24, 2000, Disney corporate named Bob Iger, President, and later named him CEO of Disney in October of 2005. This CEO has broadened the Disney company’s roster of intellectual properties and its presence in international markets. Over the course of his career, he has acquired many accomplishments and been recognized with several distinguished awards. He has raised the revenue of Disney from 48 billion to 163 billion. Iger re-invigorated Disney and Disney is known as one of the best world reputable companies. He serves as Chairman and CEO of Disney until June 30,2018. Bob Iger is leading Disney with great fortitude and integrity. He has protected ethically the heritage of Disney in keeping the reputation of Disney with high regard and takes it quite seriously where all peoples of every creed and nationality will keep Disney in their hearts and minds, occupying a special place in all families for every generation.
Mr. Bob Iger is the epitome of an exemplary, ethical leader who serves Disney with a “moral compass’ and places the integrity of the ‘Disney’ name paramount as he pulled Disney out of a third world country retailer contract because of their lack of safety standards in its supply chain with lack of protection for Bangladesh retailer’s employees, culminating after a collapse of a factory building in Bangladesh that left 400 dead who were forced to come to work the following day after there were notable cracks discovered in the concrete building in which the employees worked the day before.
Iger voided Disney’s retail business contract as a result of securing information after the fact, raising many questions ethically as to the foreign retail factory contracted to manufacture Disney branded merchandise. He has shown evidence of exemplary ethical conduct by discontinuing contracts not only with Bangladesh but other...
