Success takes many different definitions. People have different interpretations of what success really means. “The most successful men in the end are those whose success is the result of steady accretion… It is the man who carefully advances step by step, with his mind becoming wider and wider and progressively better able to grasp any theme or situation preserving in what he knows to be practical, and concentrating his thought upon it, who is bound to succeed in the greatest degree “. (Gram bell). Success is as simple as: living well, being real with ones self, and laughing often. The idea of living well is a very direct statement. Living well, in my opinion is getting success in personal, social, and professional life. If one can achieve all of these three levels of success, therefore life should be going in a good direction to achieve success.
Personal success is being able enjoy little things that life has to offer. An example of personal success is understanding and appreciating diversity. Another may be to have someone to love and treasure, to meet the right person, fall in love, and get marry. To be able to love my child and pass on wisdom to him or her. Feeling the love and respect is something that make one completely happy and successful. Without love, life is not thoroughly complete, therefore never truly achieving success. By having mental and physical awareness, as well as being comfortable with one’s self. This is an achievement of personal success. Coming home to see your loving husband, wife. Having your loved child and being able to sit down, relax and appreciate life, this would be a complete successful feeling.
Social success has a lot to do with the natural tendencies that a human possess. For instance, being able to have identified good friends that one can count on. Also to be the identified in one’s friendship. Meaning to be surrounded by kind, caring, and genuine friends that can be relied on. Knowing if there...
