Brett Hardaway Activision/Blizzard Activision/Blizzard is one of my favorite companies which is mainly why I picked them. They make mostly all of the video games I play. These companies are joined together. Activision make xbox 360 and playstation 3 games. Blizzard makes a computer games that over 9 million people play. That is why they make a good combination. They sell games all over the world and not just the U.S. which make them one of the top sellers in the video game industry. Before I picked them as a part of my companies I invested them I looked them up. I saw that in the 4th quarter they had many new games coming out. Most of them where top selling too. I was happy the first couple of days. There stock price shot up and I made a couple hundred dollars in the first few days. Then a couple of new games and I felt really good about my pick. Then they sank a little bit but I did not worry because I knew they would go back up. Then they just kept sinking and sinking. The economy hit the video game industry. Not as many people were able to buy as much games because they were worried about their money. As the last days approached I was getting a little scared because I had lost quite a lot of money in them. Then the market shot up on the last day and I had invested extra money in them and I came out making a lot of money in them. This saved me because all my other companies had gone down a lot.
