2.0 Introduction

Jejawi Primary School is located in an urban area which can be found at the edge of capital city, Kangar. Jejawi Primary School started its operation on 27th March 1973 with 100 students and 10 teachers. Currently this school has accommodated for about five hundreds students and forty four teachers. The management of Jejawi Primary School is lead by the headmaster, Mr. Mohamad Zain B Omar. Jejawi Primary School had achieved many awards through thirty four years of operating. Although the school is located at the edge of the city, they had proved that they can be awarded based on the performance of school management and successful result in examination perform by the pupils, thus has become one of the best primary school in Perlis.







3.0 Problem Statement


Teachers are arguably as one of the most important professional group that service for our country and nation. Nowadays, it is disappointed to say that most of teachers are dissatisfied with their job because of depression at work. This can be proved from the unethical manner shown by the teacher towards their pupils that had brought hot issues among Malaysian hence blaming and angry with certain irresponsible teacher’s action. This action can be explained by a research run towards seventy five Los Angeles teachers when the mean of CESD-D (depression scale) score is 15.6, which can be considered significant because it is associated with the increased risk of depression among teacher . Thus, this research is crucial for the management of Jejawi Primary School in determining factors that can increase teachers’ motivation in order to find the suitable factor that can increased teachers’ motivation so that they can give efficient services.
