Growing up I was raised in a Hispanic household with catholic religious aspects. In my household we were taught that religion is the way to determine from what’s right and wrong. We were taught that anything that was considered to be illegal was represented as the devil and his temptation to move you away from what is right.
That catholic religion could be determined or solved just by the simple fact of believing in your god. When committing a sin one must repent and ask god for forgiveness as a way to justify your sin.. When growing up in a catholic family background many of society’s influences can affect your religious views and thoughts, for example alcohol, drugs, and sexual temptations are three main sins that you may face in life. The satisfaction I had with my religion, is that Catholics can redeem themselves by asking their god in prayer to forgive them for any sins and the sins that one may commit in the future.
One practical reason why people commit to a religion is to show guidance and justification on many undetermined questions that people may have. We sometimes use religion as a face to many life experience and miracles. AS humans we only believe in what we see not on what we can’t see. Many people like me need a solid foundation to believe in to base their life on something that comforts them.

Living with a family that base their actions on religious views one must consider the values of the Ten Commandments and follow them as a law of life. For example, personally I take some religious traits from my family and mix them with my own morals that I follow. AS a human being I cannot be 100% faithful to a religion, but i can try to form a healthy way of living and a life standard based on these religious morals. I could live my life as a moral person who follows laws and sets goals for myself and my family to succeed. With what I learn I will pass on to my future children for them to consider a religious way of living. Also to...
