As kids all of our parents ask us what we want to be when we grow up, sometimes it feels like if that’s the only question they know but really they’re just trying to help us in life. The thing they fail to realize is that no matter how many times they ask us we’ll never know how to answer the question. What we know is that everybody needs to have a job to be able to buy a house, support a family, or do anything with our lives really. But none of us want to get a job doing something that we have no interest in; we want to be able to do something we love everyday. The only things that I would want a job in would be baking, fashion, or photography because those are the things that interest me enough to find a job in.
I’ve loved baking ever since I was a little girl, considering the fact that my mom is good at baking cakes I was always the one to help her in the kitchen. From when I was little, even now that I’m sixteen, I’ve skipped eating meals a couple times but something I could never reject was a cupcake or slice of cake because of my love for sweets, which is one of the reasons I like baking. Another reason I like baking is because if I make it myself I don’t have waste forty-eight dollars at some bakery for a simple small cake that I can make at home. The fact that my relatives and friends are pleased with my baking skills tells me that I might actually be able to get a job making cakes for other people. You don’t need much to be able to work at a bakery, sometimes you only need to be able to bake a cake, the most you need is a few decorating classes that are easy and inexpensive.
Fashion is a big part of my life because I like to express myself through my clothes as much as I can. My friends and family often compliment me on my hair, clothes, or even shoes. I love to look through fashion magazines, blogs, or even websites as much as I can. It is actually flattering to me when people actually ask me for fashion advice because I see it as a compliment.
