Lesson: 4.3.8
Starting high school changed my personality. Before starting high school I always had a attitude and got along with a lot of people. My grades were always up and I was very respectful and actually liked school.
Being in high school my attitude had changed a lot. I wasn’t the student I once use to be. I didn’t get along with the teachers I felt I was grown and couldn’t anyone tell me anything. Disobeying the teachers caused my grades to drop. I was kicked out of school for various times for being disrespectful and not listening. I skipped school and sometimes I wouldn’t even bother to go.
In high school a major problem was being around my friends. Being around my friends caused me to stay unfocused because I would rather play and joke around instead of paying attention and getting my work done. I would talk all the time even after the teacher would tell me not to. I also liked the attention sometimes, especially when I was bored with the work I was given. I would get kicked out of class all the time because of my behavior.
Another problem was the other students. I didn’t like the fact that they thought they were too good or better than the rest of the students. Being around people like that made me not like them. I would get into arguments and fights with girls who thought they were better than everyone else. I would try to keep to myself, but someone would always say something to make me go off.
Going through all of that really affected my life in a big way. I didn’t get to graduate on time and walk the stage with the rest of my friends and classmates. I have to make up a lot of what I missed in school. I learned a lot from the mistakes I made, and now im working harder to get what I need done. High school was a crazy roller coaster ride for me.
