why 3 years of consecutive foreign languge shoul dbe required

Three years of consecutive foreign language should not be required at west shore jr sr high school. Taking an extra 3 years of classes can be time wasting in high school. Students can take an extra math class or science class, they also need a bit more active time, and it adds un needed stress onto students. The foreign language classes should be focused more on figuring out language and breaking down sentences instead of vocabulary. The only way someone will learn Spanish and maintain the information is if people want to learn the language and stick with it for a year and even when you move to a different country people become fluent in a language just from being around the language and having to learn it for themselves.
