Everyone’s always talking about how bad the habit is. However, these people just have it all wrong. There are so many perks that come with smoking. There are endless limits when it comes to picking up a pack. Plus it’s not bad to enjoy yourself every once and a while.
First off, you’ll look super cool. Honestly, nothing is more fashionable then stained fingers, a smokers cough and, most of all, yellow teeth. Anyone who mentions anything otherwise is just trying to steal your thunder. Period. They want to make you look like a total loser. Plus, after only a cigarette or two, your clothes and hair will store a very unique odor, recognizable not only to other smokers, but to health ecstatic’s as well. The smell carries many benefits, one is the fact that you can keep unwanted men or women from getting to close. They’ll stay miles away from you because the smell is just too rich for their noses.
Smoking can also be a terrific icebreaker and even help pick up men/women. That guy that you’re afraid to pick up at the party? If you see him with a pack of cigarettes he’s more than likely to have a lighter. Pull out one of these great icebreakers and ask to use the lighter. Bam. Instant conversation starter. Plus, now he knows that he’s not the only smoker at the party. Therefore, he’s more susceptible to hanging around you.
However, there are some things that smoking can’t help. Thanks to the inflated taxes on tobacco products, smokers rarely have loose change. If any at all. Since buying these lovely things are expensive, you could be torn to choose between either them or food.
Smoking also calms your nerves. Yes, it supposedly raises heart rates and blood pressure, but the strongest ingredient nicotine has, is its calming psychological effect that you’ll definitely find addicting. Trust me on this, I’ve used cigarettes as my own personal Zoloft for years.
