Why I Appreciate Veterans Day

Have you ever thought about what America would be like without veterans? Why I appreciate Veteran's Day is because veterans have gave us freedom. Everyone needs freedom and everyone loves that we have it. The reason we have freedom is because the veterans have fought for us and sacrificed their lives for us. We have lots of privileges now. We need to respect veterans because they are very honest people. They won't lie to you and you can depend and trust them with anything. How veterans have served our country is because they have fought in wars that they didn't want to fight in for us. "O say can you see by the dawns early light. What so proudly we hailed at the twilights last gleaming." Francis Scott Key wrote this song. The Star Spangled Banner. This is the song that I think of when I see veterans. You should always thank veterans when you pass by them. Thank then for giving us freedom. I love seeing families happy because this is a free country, we can do anything we want or need. I love all the veterans that are dieing for us. Everyone should be happy and not mad with any of the veterans.
