Writing english papers is the worst part of school. The teachers always give you a boring topic to write about or something that they bairly understand. Most teachers will make u hate writing papers. All of my teacher thru grade school year just made it worse and worse for me as the years went along.
Back in elementary school you real never had to write papers. Maybe a paragraph but never anything seriouse. the only types of writing you had to do was shou that you could compaire and contrast two different things. They were more about puncuation and grammer back then. Thats all that they really tought to you at that age so it was pretty boring and wasn't grabbing my attention. Reading at my elementry was an opion, they read everything to us but never required us to read anything.
When I began middle school the game changed really quick after meeting Mr. Garnes. He was no joke when it came to writing long boring papers and he didn't play in the classroom. He was the first teacher that required me to use my libary card for acutal work. He was very strict and would give you a zero in a heart beat if you we out of line. My next teachers wer some of the biggest pushovers in the world. Mrs. Sitterson only gave us one writing assiment that whole year. It was on what we learn in her class which was abosoultly nothing. No homework, with group quizes made the class too easy. She was stil ready us the material out the book before we even did our work. In my last year in middle school I had an english teacher that didn't speak english! That was the most confusing class of my life, he couldn't explain assiments or even explain why we got the grades we did. Mr. Gifford was a big reason towards my hate for writing papers. Every paper we wrote for him was about something very old in history, nothing current to this century. Having to write about things in history is hrd because you have to asume alot of thing...
