The Seattle Seahawks

In the 2013-2014 NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks proved they are one of the best teams in the league. With a 13-3 record (best in their conference) the Seahawks proved to all their haters that they are elite and are a team to be reckoned with. They had a variety of players that were low draft picks meaning they weren’t thought of as much. This made people doubt their ability which really worked for the players’ advantage. They used this as motivation to get to the next level
The time for the Seahawks to show their talent had finally come. Through out the regular season, their defense had been recognized as elite. Their pounding hits and physical play got them the nickname “Legion of Boom”. With players like Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, Cam Chancellor, Malcolm Smith, and Bobby Wagner to name a few, this defense was feared all around the league. During that season their defense was number one in almost every defensive statistic. This was the first time this had happened since the 1985 Chicago Bears. Those Bears are known as the best defense of all time. This shows that the Seahawks defense was in the conversation as one of the greatest of all time.
The Seahawks’ wasn’t that bad either. They had a young stud in Russell Wilson who can make all the right throws at the right time. At times he was somewhat a game manager meaning he wouldn’t do anything that could shock you, but he made very few mistakes. This is not saying he couldn’t make big plays. Wilson was throwing to pretty decent wide receivers too. Golden Tate, Percy Harvin, Doug Baldwin, and Jermaine Kearse. Tate and Harvin were the top 2 receivers. Both could make spectacular catches and have great runs after the catch. Even with all this firepower they still had one player that electrified everyone every game.
They also had one of the best running backs in the league called Marshawn Lynch. His nickname was “the beast” and he definitely earned that title. At any time of the...
