Working in a Team

As with any high functioning team, foundational measurement will be performance. What a team can and do accomplish is why the team was tapped as a group resource. The sum of the parts is more than that of the whole. This team is poised to perform well under a variety of challenges because of our diversity of strengths. The team will be well represented from a leadership standpoint. This will bring immediate results as the team will be well represented from both a goal oriented and a project oriented results perspective. Few members have a behavior style of dominance will help keep the team motivated and moving forward. While the strength of some team members, are steadiness behavior style will translate to leadership for project details.
Many members of a team have a interactive behavior style that will not only allow the other team members to operate at a high level of energy, but to reminds them to have fun along the way. When teams operate at a high level for extended periods the stress can become unbearable. Having the ability to look beyond conventional thinking and confinement will translate to new opportunities and ideas. When the entire team brings their unique problem solving techniques to bear on these ideas the possibilities will be limitless.
The biggest part of motivating a group is the group dynamic in how well they work together towards a set of goals. To our benefit we work well together due to having some major things in common: we are all family oriented, we all have full time jobs, and we all want to complete the MBA program which requires at least a B average. When we devised our group charter we have different strengths and weaknesses that overlap each other so that we can learn from one another One area that several team members said that they needed to work on is time management.
