I felt that captain Preston shouldn’t have been executed and here is why. When the civilians were throwing clam shells and sticks and snow balls the soldiers stayed calm but when the civilians started to threaten them by hitting them with stick and the were so close that the bayonets were poking them in the stomach but when the solider got hit in the head and was knocked over that was an act of aggression personally they should of have gave warning shots to disperse the crowd but that’s just me but I do not think they should have fired because you are not just aloud to fire if something hits you in the head because you don’t know who did it because you might just of have killed innocent bystander but I do not think captain Preston ordered his soldiers to fire because he knew the consequences if he ordered them to fire without just cause I think his soldiers just panicked after the solider was hit in the head and felt they were threatened and fired. Whether captain Preston ordered them to fire or not I do not think he should have been executed.
