Assignment: Club IT, Part 1
Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada both graduated with degrees in Business Administration in 2000. They both had dreams of opening a night club and decided to join together to make their dream come true. In 2005 they did just that; they opened a nightclub called Club It. They both have strong knowledge of the nightclub scene and their business principles, as they both worked as musicians and their degree concentration focused on business.
Club IT is a newly renovated nightclub where the community can meet, drink, dance, relax, and get acquainted with one another. Club IT offers live music, Dj’s, a place to dance, and food and drinks of all flavors. Ruben and Lisa are thrilled with the results of the remodel and hope their guests can feel an ambience of fun and energy under the high ceilings and high energy lighting.
The club was recently remodeled to include an open floor plan of around 6000 square feet, seating for over 200 guests, a kitchen for munchies, and a bar with four serving stations. To guarantee the best service to their clientele, Ruben and Lisa have hired on a large staff to assist in their business’s success and to ensure the best quality experience to all of their visitors. Each month at Club IT there are featured artists. Patrons enjoy live bands on Fridays and Saturdays and DJ’s Tuesdays through Thursdays. The DJ uses a collection of MP3 playlists, including hip-hop, techno, and electronic with some of the latest top hits. The club is closed on Sundays to allow for the staff and patrons to recuperate and re-energize for the start of a new week.
The existing website was designed to give patrons and employees easy access to Club IT information and tools. Patrons can visit the website to learn more about Club IT and its owners, view the club layout, purchase tickets for upcoming events, preview food and drink menus, purchase Club IT merchandise,...
