Zombieland

Zombieland
I chose Zombieland because the whole concept of the movie kind of intrigues me. There is honestly no definitive genre. It could be considered horror, comedy, action/adventure; either way, it is one of my favorite movies. The whole plot of an unlikely survivor of a zombie apocalypse teaming up with a likely survivor is something that hasn’t been done before, and is a clever way of going about the story. But the definitive genre of the film in my opinion is more comedy, because there is a lot of light hearted-ness fun, but with a bleak outlook on the world, which is refreshing in an age where films seem to become less and less original.

These are all actors who have has little to no experience with this sort of story line. Before Zombieland, Jesse Eisenberg had only done dramatic movies. Except for Adventureland, this was a comedy, but nothing like this movie. Emma stone had only done stupid teenage drama/comedies like Bad Girls and Superbad. So Zombieland was a whole new experience for her. Woody Harrelson, on the otherhand, was right in his element with this movie because he has done comedies, and dramas in the past. All these actors put together made the perfect cast for this film. Although it was new...
