A Day When Everything Went Wrong
In 2006, Mr. Brown was experiencing Pains in his stomach which caused him to throw-up and when he threw up it felt like burning acid. Also he was feeling extremely weak, dizziness, like he was going to pass out. So it stops for a little bit of time and he decided that he was going to work that day. Mind you that he didn’t know that the symptoms would return. So he caught the bus to work at around 9am and he started working with no problems. Next thing he knew he was in pain again throwing up all over the place. Testicular Cancer is something that really had him rethink the way he view or live his life. Because he wanted to show others that you can conquer anything, shape, or form of medical issues that come before them...
On that same day he was rushed to ER at Annapolis Hospital. They decided that he need to be admitted. So while he is lying down in the hospital bed. The doctor approaches him and says we have the results. He was so nervous because something like this never happened to him before. The doctor says Mr. Brown you have Testicular Cancer. Now, when the doctor told him his eyes got bigger, his mouth felt like it dropped to the floor and you can hear his heart beating faster and faster. He thought to himself why me? Why now? He was so scared and didn’t know what to do. How would I handle this situation? Mr. Brown thought to himself “I don’t know”, so he asked what can they do treat his condition? The doctor says well first we need to start you with Chemotherapy treatment.
Next the doctor said we will need to have you come in the hospital to be admitted every 2 weeks for treatment. And he would have to be in the hospital for 3 weeks each time he was admitted. Also the doctor said that he going have 7 cycles of chemo and 1 chemo cycle that will be 3 x’s stronger than the others. So doctor when will I be starting these treatments? Mr. Brown asked. The doctor says well they will start in September. So he said ok....
