-Person in the first-line management who monitors and regulates employees in their performance of assigned or delegated tasks. Supervisors are usually authorized to recommend and/or effect hiring, disciplining, promoting, punishing, rewarding, and other associated activities regarding the employees in their departments.


1.A good supervisor is an example for their employees. He or she acts in a manner that his/her employee makes her their ideal. A good supervisor acts professionally and works hard. They do their work on time. Besides they will make a self- sciticism when they do wrong. So, they can expect their employees to work hard ,on time and take responsibility when they do the same.
For example,you work at a company where the boss is always tardy,it also give you the habit of tardy.

2. A good supervisor will have a great communication skills: As a supervisor one must communicate clearly and correctly to avoid misunderstandings and frustrations. When receiving information from a subordinate, they should be sure to receive it correctly-There is no harm in asking again if necessary. A good supervisor gives clear and understandable directions to their employees. They clear every point to their employee whenever an employee needs them. They need to relay instructions very clearly so every part is well understood in order to avoid mistakes. They also need to listen carefully to what their employees tell them. A very good way to make sure someone has understood your instructions is to ask them to repeat everything in their own words. To make sure you have received information correctly, you should say “so what you are saying is…” and repeat in your own words.
