InterClean, Inc. is about to merge with EnviroTech and as a company we want to ensure the success of the merge. As a company we want to focus on the importance of the type of behavior that our mangers should exhibit in the work place. A manger’s behavior can have a great impact on the productivity of the company’s workers. A manger’s behavior could decrease the employee’s loyalty to the company and have employees leaving and looking for other jobs. As Managers you need to make sure employees are respected and treat each employee equal to ensure productivity. As a company we cant afford to lose skilled workers or talented worker for the faults of the managers.
Clearly, Appropriate leadership helps create a satisfying work environment conducive to high productivity. Unmanaged or destructive behavior of a manager can turn the company into a miserable one. Employees not only loose their productivity and creativity, sometimes loose their workplace engagement as well. Rude behavior of a manger creates an atmosphere of mistrust and fear, and as a consequence has a negative impact on productivity and also increases the operational cost. It is important to make your employees feel welcome in the company and appreciate them for the work that they are doing and provide positive feedback to ensure my ideas, opinions and more productivity. It is important for you as a manger to have a good attitude when in the work place.
As managers you are responsible for your employees knowing and understanding the rules and laws of fair employment. It is also a requirement that you as a manger understand the rules and laws. We will have a mandatory sexual harassment class and suicide prevention class to promote and enforce these rules and laws into the workplace. Managers make sure you ask your applicants the correct questions that are in line with the rules and laws.
